Rates

Private lessons - Fees are $80 per hour and $40 per half-hour, with the student traveling to the professor. Skype, Zoom, or Facetime lessons are also now available! All cancellations must be received and confirmed no less than 3 hours before the lesson except in cases of emergency - otherwise, no refund will be possible.
Lessons should always be canceled or changed to online in cases of illness regardless of time frame; the student will not be charged in this case.

Events - The typical honorarium for indoor events is approximately $500. The typical honorarium for wedding ceremonies is approximately $600 - $800. This includes fees for cartage (see below scale) and outdoor venues. Minimum fee for any event is $450 because of moving the instrument, travel time, etc. If you have a limited budget, I have several students looking to gain experience; their fee would be lower as fitting to their ability and repertoire levels. Please contact me for referral to one of them!

Consultations are available for weddings for a small additional cost; the couple can come and hear various selections and choose the music for each part of their ceremony! Much of this can be done via FaceTime or Marco Polo at this time.

Confirmation - All non-corporate engagements are confirmed by written contract and a $100 non-refundable deposit - the remainder of payment is due the morning of the event. Payment can be made via Zelle, Venmo, ApplePay, cash, or check.

Cartage is added into pricing for events - this fee covers my time driving and moving this large fragile instrument, plus includes gas and mileage costs -  please keep in mind that if I drive for 4 hours to and from your event, and play for 2 hours, the means that my arms have been raised and my muscles have been working without rest for 6 hours! So there is built into the fee a progressive increase for longer drives to compensate for extra time will need to be spent at the destination preparing for the event. This insures that you will enjoy optimal quality at your performance regardless of the location! 
(Parenthesis will give you an idea of approximate areas / driving times) - so up to:

1 hour roundtrip of driving time (west side/ Phoenix metro) = $75

2 hours, roundtrip (Scottsdale/east Phoenix) = $125

3 hours, roundtrip (outer Phoenix/surrounding areas) = $225

4 hours, roundtrip (Prescott/North Tucson) = $350

5 hours, roundtrip (Sedona/Tucson) = $500

$80/hour - rehearsal fee - if you want a soloist to be accompanied and they cannot attend your consultation to rehearse then, they can schedule their own rehearsal at another time based on their schedule.
